Far Breton with Prunes



  • 5 eggs
  • 250g sugar
  • 200g flour
  • 30g Linette
  • 1lt milk
  • 15g butter
  • 3cl rum
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • prunes

Cooking time 60 minutes


  • Whisk the eggs
  • Add the salt and sugar
  • During this time, melt the butter in the milk, without bringing it to the boil
  • Mix Linette with flour then add to the egg & sugar mix
  • Add in the hot milk while gently stirring
  • Add in the rum
  • Butter the dish and line it with prunes
  • Cover the prunes with the mixture
  • Bake at 200oc for 1hr and.... treat yourself
